What ever happened to Cousin Daisy??

On the cartoon Dora the Explorer there is an episode where Dora's cousin, Daisy, needs her to come play in "The Big Soccer Game." Dora points to a picture on a table and says, "These are my cousins Diego and Daisy. Mis primos." Ok- this is where it gets suspicious- on the spin-off show Go Diego Go! Diego's sister is named Alicia- not Daisy. She looks like Daisy and sounds like Daisy, but you never hear from Daisy again- except for the Dora episode where Dora tells how she met Boots the Monkey. In that epsiode Diego and Daisy are at Dora's home to have dinner and tell funny stories.
Did Daisy go against the family? Is she hidden away somewhere? Did Alicia assume her identity? I don't know what's going on, but I suspect foul play.
Do I have too much time on my hands since my mom has been in town for a week? Perhaps.

Sounds suspicious to me. Maybe something horrible happened to her that can't be discussed on a children's show? Or maybe it is "Daisy Alicia" and she is choosing to go by her middle name now. They try to make these shows encourage imagination after all, don't they!

Wow, I really couldn't tell you. That would bug me too though. I hate it when they switch things around. Like on ER, hot nurse has a new son and a new ex husband... dumb!

Gina - I know!! And her other son was a lot cuter than this new one. Or like on soap opera's when they replace main characters with new actors. What the heck??

Nettie - Maybe the Big Red Chicken got her in Dora's land. Or a wild animal in Diego's. Who knows...

Maybe Daisy got a soccer scholarship and is off yelling, "GO-O-O-O-O--O-LLLL!!" at every turn; not too helpful when it comes to rescuing animals. Alicia's more valuable in that department.

Has anyone else noticed that Isa TOTALLY has a crush on Boots? You can hear it especially in the older episodes. She says, "Hi, Dora," and then all sultry and sing-song, "H-h-hi-i-i, Boooooots."

Instead of Boots, Clara (2) says "Poops". It fits her lifestyle.

Don't forget the episode where they have to take Daisy her special crown and shoes for her birthday party. I think after that she may have started some questionable behavior and been let go. Very thought provoking. Remember when Steve from Blue's Clues left the show and they said he was going to college and that's when Joe entered. College might be useful to a grown man who spends all his time finding paw prints and talking to house hold items, toys, and odd colored animals and skidooing into books and flannel story boards.

LOL Robin! Joe gives me the weebee jeebees. And it bugs me when he acts like he can't read. He seems like a pervert. Maybe it's just me...
I wonder what the heck kind of college Steve was able to get into?

Hm...questionable behaviour...perhaps Daisy was also proficient in...softball?

Maybe Daisy, w/ her Anglo name, decided to emigrate, was caught by the border patrol and is currenly being held in Guantamo. Hey, it could happen.

JC- I never thought of that... Could be. I think I actually saw her on the news at a rally on Monday.

Daisy joined the foreign exchange program. Unfortunately, her family was so impressed by the girl they were sent, they forgot all about Daisy.

The next mystery is Diego's voice. Isn't it suppose to get deeper when it changes- not higher?

I know I am late on this one, but this has bugged me FOREVER! They always mention either Daisy OR Alicia as Diego's sisters, but NEVER together. This bugs me.
