2 phrases I never thought I would say...

PHRASE #1: "Babe, take the helmet off if you want to sleep with me."

I probably shouldn't post this story, but since most of you don't know my husband "in real life" it should be ok. Those of you who do know him- well, please don't think any less of him (or me!!) Ok, for Sei's birthday the kids and I bought him a skateboard helmet. He longboards and I didn't want him cracking his head open. So... anyway. Last nite we're getting into bed and my nerd hubby is lying there, in the bed, in his helmet!! What the heck?? He starts saying that he's wanting to "practice safe sex" because the wall/ceiling above our bed slants and he might bang his head! He kept the helmet on for a while- he even checked on the kids wearing it. That was a weird silhoutte... I finally had to resort to threats to get him to take it off. NERD!!

PHRASE #2: "Stop sticking foreign objects in your belly button!"

Tristan has discovered he has a really deep belly button and is CONSTANTLY sticking things in it and saying "Look at this Mom!!" Here's a picture of him with a toy lizard hanging out. Gross.

Your whole family cracks me up. Good luck with moving, I can't believe we will have to do it again when we find a house to buy, we are renting here for a year. Anyway I am glad you are blogging again.
Miss ya.

Too funny! The helmet thing totally sounds like something Micah would do. - You knew I'd appreciate that one! & Do we dare ask HOW Tristan figured out the belly button thing?!

LOL... both things are funny. Sounds like stuff that would happen over here.

By the way, I got Jan Brady too. We're Brady sisters!
