Kickin' butt and takin' names

Isabel competed in the Utah State Championships this past weekend. She rocked! She had her best meet of the season!!

Stats:
Floor - 9.1 1st place ribbon
Vault - 8.8 2nd place ribbon
Bars - 8.7 2nd place ribbon
Beam - 8.325 (She actually scored 8.425 but lost .1 for going over the time limit.) 2nd place ribbon

Over all -
Silver Medalist!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(She missed the gold by .075. Darn time limit on beam!!)

Her goal was to score a total score of 34 or higher. She scored 34.925!! Her coaches are talking about moving her up to level 5. I think I would prefer her to stay at level 4 a while and continue to kick butt. But that's just me...

I put together a little "montage" of Izzy. It's available to view on my gratitude blog, but I figured I would post it here also. (It's not long at all...)

That is so precious! I'm amazed that she can already do so many gymnastic moves at such a young age. You must be so proud! :)

She is so talented and has awesome athletic ability. She looked much smaller than the other girls getting medals. What a little stud, but a girl stud!

There's only one other 7 year old on her team- but her ability is no where close to Isabel's. The next youngest is 9.
