What do all the pictures have in common?

They all represent the amount of EXTRA FAT I've been trying to squeeze into my jeans the last few weeks. I have totally gained 5 pounds in like 6 weeks. And some of you are probably thinkin' "5 pounds... big deal." Well, when you aren't even 5'3" and your jeans were already very "form fitting" and you already have a lot of "junk in your trunk," five pounds is A LOT OF WEIGHT!! I blame this on Seiuli. He's lost weight, I've found it. He doesn't eat when he's stressed out, so I eat extra for him. He's working a ton of hours, so I eat to fill the lonely void. He doesn't work out, so I don't work out. So, to make myself feel better I'm just gonna sit here on my butt, blogging about being fat while I eat Christmas candy. (At least I'm drinking Diet Dr. Pepper.) Yeah, I'm feeling better already...

I didn't scroll down and spent four minutes trying to figure out what they had in common...then I saw the dumbell.

I so know what you mean. I watched "The Biggest Loser" and hopefully I can keep some of that inspiration with me.

Whew! For a second there I thought it was your family's 72 hr kit or contraband confiscated from the kids at NSYA.

I didn't see your text at first either, and my thought was "things that cause you to gain weight" (including the dumbbell... but that's good weight gain, usually) My husband has all his nasty rotations between now and a few months after this baby is born, so i'm bracing myself. he leaves at 4:45am and gets home at... well, last night it was 8pm (o: Hang in there! (and don't beat yourself up over it!)

It just isn't fair how guys don't have to work as hard at staying slim as girls do.

Just blog to your heart's content today and try not to let the extra weight bug you! It will probably naturally come off slowly after the holidays anyway. Either that or with a lot of tread mill work! ;)

Maybe your pregnant... with the mailman's baby. Okay so you've gained a few pounds, my weight goes up and down constantly- I hate it. So I do what you do, blog, drink diet coke, and have a couple Andes mints while trying to figure out what I could possibly be doing wrong!?!

Robin- LOL! At least the mailman in our new neighborhood is a lot cuter than Grizzly Adams from our old one. ;)

Hey, Grizzly Adams is a really nice guy! He shaved it all off a couple weeks ago... (plus he delivers anything bigger than 3 x 8 to our door)

Anyway, I am sorry the jeans don't fit right... when the clothes start telling you your weight, that is when it's frustrating. It's okay to gain the 5 lbs in the arms, boobs and ankles, but anywhere else just sucks!

If it's any consolation... you do have a nice booty!

I did notice that the cottage cheese is low fat. Way to go!

This week I decided I was going to eat only fruit. Yeah, don't ask me how that went. It's just not possible to loose/not gain weight is December.

Maybe your pants shrunk?

Gina- He shaved it!?!? I wanna see!I miss Grizzly Adams. He would not only bring the packages, but ALL the rest of the mail with it. Our mailman here only brings the packages and then I have to go to the mailbox for the rest... :(
