Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens

Stephanie had a great post about her "favorite things" and she invited the rest of us to do the same. Thanks Stephanie! Here goes!!!

This is my cell phone. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not on it constantly. In fact, out of the 2000 minutes my husband and I share, I use about 50. I just like the security it brings and knowing that my kids can get a hold of me anytime they need to.

This is my toothbrush. It's nothing fancy, but I am a fanatic about brushing my teeth. I brush at least 4 times a day.

Yes- this is a picture of toilet paper and No, I'm not kidding. I mean, of course everyone knows TP is great, but I have a special love for it. I won't go into details, but let's just say my ex-husband's family weren't as big of fans of TP as I am. They were fine with making do with, oh, whatever... I have carried extra toilet paper in the trunk of my car for over 10 years now.

Cream of Mushroom soup just rocks. If I can't think of anything to make for dinner, I just pour a can of this on chicken, roast, spaghetti, whatever... And wa-la: Dinner.

The vase on the right side of the picture is filled with petals from flowers that Sei has given me over the years. And I don't put ALL the petals in, just a few from each bouqet. And next to it are more petals I can use to fill my over-flowing vase. (Thanks again Babe!)

Seiuli gave me this Willow Tree statue for Christmas. It's named "Together" and I had eyed it in the store and secretly wished Sei would buy it for me. He wasn't with me at the time & had no idea.

This Beanie Baby was given to me from Sei about 3 years ago. He worked a lot of nite shifts at the time and so this was to fill the void while he was gone. He wrote a cute little poem with it also. When I was in the hospital after having Taj, Sei brought this doll to my room so I wouldn't be lonely. :)

If there was a fire in our home, I would save this book. This is the side view of a huge 3 ring binder I put together my 1st Valentines Day with Seiuli. Inside it holds all the emails, cards, letters, etc.... that Seiuli and I have given each other over the years. It starts with our 1st emails when we "met" online. I LOVE this binder. I love reading thru it. I love adding to it!! And obviously I need to get a second one because this one is overflowing. I hope to need a 3rd and a 4th and a 5th...

So, there you have it. A few of my favorite things. How about you? What are YOUR favorite things???

Tori :), you are my inspiration! I need to be as fanatical about brushing my teeth as you are. My dentist wouldn't like it as much.

I love that most of your favorite things are something between you and Sei. You have got to be the most in love couple I have ever known...not that I really "know" you, but you know what I mean.

Thanks so much for playing!

Hey girl, looks like you need a new vase. Now that's awesome. My toothbrush is one of my favorite things. I'd go without make up and lipstick (yes it is true) before I'd ever give up my toothbrush or deodorant!

Trent doesn't really give me cute things or write me poems or notes. But he's pretty hot, so that's good. Anyway, I love your favorite thing post, I may just do one.

I love your things!

I also have a large binder that I've saved all of the letters, e-mails and cards my hubby and I sent each other while we were dating.

Oh, I got my new cd in the mail over the weekend and it was great! Thank you! :D

Leslie- I don't know tara IRL, but somehow we found each other's blogs. I think we both visit Barefoot in the Kitchen, who I found thru my RLF Robin. I think I found YOUR blog from Stephanie also and then tara may have found me thru a comment I left on yours. Or something like that. I just confused myself...
Robin- Show Trent this post. Maybe you'll get a poem and some flowers out of it. ;)
I'm glad y'all liked the post. Hope to see a similar one on y'alls blogs!! :)
