Practice Run

So... I went today on a practice run on the trail for the 5k I'm running on Saturday. I wanted to make sure there weren't a lot of hills, etc... to slow my way fast (not) pace. Well, I finished the run and it actually wasn't too bad. I wasn't fast at all, but it's doable. It was freakin' cold at 1st because it was raining and the rain was stinging my face. But it cleared up about 1/2 way thru. My butt is just really scraped up and sore... from dragging on the ground. It actually tripped me a few times.

NCS, do you have issues? Besides the ones we already know about? Now I will be on a quest to be the 1st, just to tick ya off! haha-

Tori- Sorry about your bum! old age sucks eh??

Tori, you look way too hot to have birthed five children and mothered entire neighborhoods. I don't want to hear about your butt being too big or draggin'. If you're the cool mom and the hot mom, your kids' friends' moms might kill themselves. I'm just lucky we moved out before Alli started comparing me to you.

I was baffled by the scrapes on your butt. I thought you were going to explain some foilage reaching into your path while running, but no, it was all a joke... how dumb am I that I didn't get it right off the bat? You are so funny! Your posts always make me laugh!

You went running in the rain??? You are more dedicated than I am! I've thought about doing a 5K too, but not until I can get my time lower. I'm only doing about 48 minutes right now... Way to go! I hope your run goes o.k. tomorrow! :)

My butt is very grateful for all y'alls sweet remarks.

Katie- WHATEVER!! This is coming from the lady who gave birth to twins and wore her regular jeans home from the hospital??

Gina- You're so funny! Nope. Nothing grabbed my butt...

Suzanne- I only ran in the rain because it started raining AFTER I drove over to the trail. I almost quit, but it cleared up. The fact that you can run 48 minutes straight is awesome!

Ha - my mom took her size 2 jeans with her to the hospital when I was born. HA! She didn't wear them home.

Glad to hear you're out being all healthy and exercising and everything. Thanks for giving NCS first shot at the comments. She has so little to live for, what with her 89 bottles of hot sauce to take care of.

I'd say if you finished, you aren't dragging your butt too much! That's so awesome!
