I got nothin'

I'm hanging out with Suzanne today and my brain is having trouble coming up with anything clever. So... it's time for random thoughts from Tori :)... again.
~ My favorite book is:

This is the 3rd book in Stephenie Meyer's series. Ok, I've actually LOVED all 3 books (Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse), but this one cemented my love for Jacob. In case it isn't obvious from my sidebar (Thank you NCS for the Team Black pic!) I heart Jacob Black. So, back off. And don't just say you love Jacob because I said it so that makes it cool (haha). I'm serious. Step off. :P Edward is winning on NCS's poll and I am glad. I'm his 1st vote and Amanda voted for him just to make me jealous. I know this because she loves Edward. So, I know Jacob is mine. Just sayin'... :D

~ My favorite music groups to listen to at the moment are Linkin Park and Muse. Sei can play this song playing today on the piano. It's beautiful. He likes it because it's challenging- lots of chord changes. This is the live version- the only one that would play the entire song. Sorry.

~ I, personally, don't think "imitation is the fondest form of flattery." In fact sometimes I think it's just rude. I remember in the 6th grade I used to like to wear hats. I don't know why. I mean, check out "5th Grade Tori:)"- I wasn't too cool. But then Sara M. started wearing hats too and it pissed me off. I told my mom that it bugged me and she told me that I should be "flattered." Well, I wasn't. It's one thing to try to be nicer because you notice one person is really nice, but to flat out steal their style or try to pretend you're something you're not because you think it'll make you cooler- NOT COOL.

~ I had an interesting conversation with someone (who shall remain nameless and linkless to protect her sweet identity) yesterday about Edward and Bella. If you don't know who they are you can stop reading now. Ok, in Eclipse Bella is really pushing to do the nasty with Edward. This friend I was talking to asked how *that* would "work" since Edward has no blood. Hmmm... any ideas??

That is all. Sorry for the lame post. :(

I bet Sara M. now has seven kids and a blog called, "My life... Just Act Like You're Interested."

How cute were you, wearing hats all the time. You and Suzanne hug each other for me.

P.S. This was not lame! Quit it!

Your 'lame' is very cool! I wish I could be just like you, hats and all. Except I can't love Jacob!

How neat that your husband can play the piano. It sounds as if he is pretty talented too.

So how would it work exactly, Bella and Edward? Your secrety friend isn't moving in on my Edward turf is she? Hmmmm? ;) As is obvious from NCS's poll, I am not the only one who likes Edward. I better learn how to share!

Say "Hi" to Suzanne for me! :D

Oh, I love omar's comment by the way! LOL

Omar- She probably does! Ugh.

Millie- I wasn't cute. At all. Not even "so ugly it's cute"- like an ugly puppy. (((HUGS))) I Miss you.

AManda- Sei plays by ear and can pick up on songs within a matter of minutes. He usually plays them more beautifully than they are originally. Yes- you share Edward. I'm not good at sharing, so it's good I'm one of the few who loves the underdog. Get it? "Dog."

Okay, I guess I have to read the series. My daughter has, and is just in the middle of the last one.

If he doesn't have blood, does that mean he has other, um? functions?

*laughing*

So are they done, now the three? Or is this going to continue?

I think Stephanie Myers should send you free books, because you do so much to promote her writings.

You're a crack up!

Tori--well you are such the trend setter ; ) Kind of like Regina in Mean Girls--only nicer.
I think it's wonderful that your husband plays the piano--and the fact he plays by ear is amazing to me. I've been taking lessons for about 5 years and still struggle.
I have yet to see a lame post on your blog.

Carronin is moving in on your Jacob territory over at NCS's poll. :)

Did you know Jacob has his own wikipedia page?

So if I start reading the vampire books (just so I can be cool like you and Amanda) is it okay? or will you be mad at me and call me a copy cat and give me the mean look?

Even if I tried my hardest to imitate you, it wouldn't make me cool, haha! ;)

LOL at Omar's comment! :D

That's awesome that Sei plays the piano like that...my hubby wishes he knew how to play, but his family wasn't into music when he was growing up.

Have fun today with Suzanne! :)

I bet Sara M. loves Sei too! Doh!

I voted for Jacob. A little competition never hurt anybody so don't hate me.

I did Random thoughts today too, Tori! I had so much fan hanging out with you today. I think the kids had fun too!

I love Muse too! Some of their stuff is a little weird, but I love their sound. Did you know they're coming in concert in a month?

You've posed an interesting question about Edward and Bella. Hmm...who were you talking to that would have thought of that??? :D

***Disclaimer: I did not copy Tori's idea to do a random post today! LOL! We're just post twins! :D

Lisa- YES. You have to read it. Another book is coming out next Fall, so no, there's not just 3 books. It's way easy reading and I've just really enjoyed them.

Yvonne- Wow, thanks. I was kidding about everyone copying me to be cool. I hope everyone realizes that!

Amanda- Oh, I ward Carronin to step off. And now apparently I need to warn MEL as well...

Wendy- YOu can read them, just don't like Jacob. :)

Nancy- I'm much cooler online than IRL!!

Annie- Oh no you dihn't just say that! I bet she went out and found a guy named Seiuli (because that's so easy to find!) just to spite me. She can have my ex if she wants...

Mel- I wanted you at NCS blog. You should know that I fight... I fight dirty if necessary. I loved him 1st.

Suzanne- The friend I was talking to is a total perv. She has serious issues... ;)
I knew you were going to copy me. GOSH! ;)

Suzanne- I forgot to mention: I knew Muse was coming on Sept. 12. I can see it flashing up on the sign behind my house. That'd be a cool concert.

Are you saying that I can't be like you? It will make me uber cool!

Tori :) said...

Toni- UBER cool fer sure! Do I sound totally stuck up in this post?? I totally don't mean to be. I haven't had many people copy me since the 6th grade hat fiasco...

I know it would really mess with my students' minds when they would hear my listening to the Hybrid Theory album!

I thouhgt *I* was your only and one twin.

Actually I copied/stole the idea for 'team blck' from someone else. I know.

I almost read your spoiler. But I stoped myself on time. I'm pacing my reading of Eclipse, as soon as I finish then we can discuss :)

I'm going to go with the miracle of a Big Pen1S Pump......

Should I be letting my 12 year old read Eclipse?!!!? She just bought it today while I'm still stuck on page 120 in Twilight.

Ok, So I am a totally random person who came across your blog, and I was telling a friend about your question and she came up with a really good idea. She said it would have to be outisde during the day since you know, he turns into a "hard" formation. :)

I just wrote my review of Eclipse on my private book club blog. I will email you. You brought up an interesting point, but I guess if he can walk and talk without blood, he is surely capable of the deed... though I totally felt robbed when there wasn't one in this the third book! Ugh. I know I am a perv just like that someone who shall remain nameless.
