Nite at the Museum

We visited the free museum at BYU on Monday nite. We had a great time- except for Sei who chased Liv the entire time. I'm so spoiled... Here are some of our favorite pictures.
Tristan and Taj picking the zebra's nose...
Livie listening intently to the reptile demonstration. She got up and ran when he put the tortoise down on the floor.
Kids with the ball python- my next snake.
Tajy loved the tortoise

The butterfly made out of ... butterflies.
A really big bear- in case you couldn't tell.
"A liger... It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and tiger mixed, bred for it's skills and magic."
Poor 2 headed snake- died of starvation. Guess he couldn't make up his minds what to eat... That was tacky.
She even smiles when she's being eaten by a ginormous hippo!!
Hot couple. Do we look like we're saying "Take it!!"?? We totally were. Tristan took FOR.EV.ER. He kept saying "Are you ready?" Nerd.

That is all.

That liger caption cracked me up!

Katie told me she's taken Alli there before... I have yet to get Liam there. Thanks for the reminder!

Poor snake. You'd think with two heads, it would have eventually had enough to eat.

(I received your package and loved it - I would give you the hugest hug if you were here! I needed it!)

Lisa: Boys will be boys, eh?

Gina: It was our 1st time to go too. It's a really neat museum!

Millie: I guess it couldn't swallow at all. Poor snake. I'm glad you got your package!!!

Jean Knee: I'll have to visit her blog...

Jenny: It's impossible to get bored with that many kids!!

NCS: Tristan is like an inch shorter than me and I only outweigh him by like 8 pounds! He is a BIG boy.

PJ: It really was. I loved the reptile guy.

Dana: It was way pretty. And they had all kinds of cool bugs to look at.

I forgot: NCS, I don't know how poor Shasta died. I was too busy being a dork for the picture to actually read the thing posted on the glass... I'm lame.:( And today I will keep the song of the day from yesterday the same just for you.

Ooh I love free stuff, because I'm cheap like that! How fun for the kiddies. Please tell me you're joking about getting that snake! :D

It's true...we LOVE the museum. And it's my favorite price! You and Sei are so stinking good looking together.

We love that museum! And as a bonus it is right next to the BYU Creamery; a perfect place for an after-museum snack!

Suzanne- When we got Wormy it was a toss up between a Corn Snake and a Ball Python. I told Sei I totally want another snake.

Katie- I didn't even KNOW about the museum until the cub scouts went to it. Where have I been??

UtMommy- We were gonna do the creamary but ended up with sundaes from McDonalds instead! Let's take our kiddos there someday. We could swim at the BYU pool also. :)

They have some new stuff that I haven't seen before. Guess it's time for another trip.

and No it didn't totally look like you were saying "just take it." ;)

What!!! Four years at BYU and I didn't know they had a zebra with a nose you could pick or a stuffed liger!!!!!! And I thought the stuffed cougars and skeletal raptors were cool!

GRRRR. Next time BYU! Next time I'll visit your museum.

Please tell me it wasn't the museum right next to the stadium. I lived in the Alta Apartments right next door for a year and never went inside. If they had the liger there that would be a crying shame!

Inga- It was a lot funner than I expected!!

Robin- Yeah, we're intellects like that.

Kayelyn- I had never been, so it was all new to me.

David- It was the Bean Museum, right next to the Marriot Center. Is that the one you lived by??

NCS- I won't go away. (Does that sound creepy??):)

Annie- Awww... thanks!

When we lived in Provo D was the lead custodian at that museum. He kept it nice and clean, and we enjoyed taking #1 there (this was back when we only had one). D also had keys to the other rooms so we could see things that weren't on general display. It was pretty cool.

No, I guess I can relax. I didn't live right next to a stuffed liger without knowing it! I just lived a few blocks from a stuffed liger without knowing it!
