Acceptance Speech

Jennie Boo and Nancy Face bestowed an award upon me.
The
"You Make Me Smile Award."
This is what the person that created this award says about it
"...the thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog. I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with.
I wanted to create something special for the people who have inspired me through their blogging; the stories they tell, and the lives they lead with grace and dignity. I visit their blogs for inspiration and encouragement... Please grab your badge and wear it (with a smile) proudly, and pass it on because you inspire and encourage me---thank you! So now it is my turn to pass it on."

I don't know how deserving I am of this award. I try to do right by people and make people happy, but I know sometimes I fail. :( I hope people realize I'm not perfect. I have grumpy days and I even get PMS... Somehow I just try to make it sound funny on my blog! :D
It's hard to pick just a few to pass this award on to!! So many of my bloggy buddies make me smile. So, I decided I am passing it on to the awesome women I hung out with tonite: UtMommy, Suzanne and Gina. Y'all made me smile all nite. Thanks for a great time. (That sounds like something on a bathroom wall. "For a great time call Tori. 555-4102") And on that note... I'll end this post. Congrats ladies!
****(If anyone can tell me what movie that phone number is from I will seriously send you a prize!!)****

well, you make me smile. so you totally deserve this award. congratulations. and i think that is from an 80s movie. i'm 98% sure. is it pretty in pink? i'm not sure.

I was so ready to win a prize on a technicality, because you didn't say the FIRST person to guess the movie got a prize. But then I realized that I still don't know the answer.

Congrats on the award!

You make me smile too Tori.
I got goodmail from you.
It came in a clear sleeve with an apology from mr. usps... it was all torn up.
I'll try to post a pic of it later on.
Thank you for the goodmail!

You could have put the song from the movie on today and I still might have racked my brain to remember it.

Congrats on your award. I second the emotion.

This is the "You Make Me Smile Award"...not the "I'm Perfect and Never Get PMS Award!" :D

You give me smiles and laughs every day...sure helps when I have PMS, haha! You're awesome! :)

Ever since I entered this blogging world, you've made me smile. So I'm glad Nancy face gave you the award. I love how you don't let the grumpy days show through on your posts (I try but I know it doesn't work for me!!!)

I believe it was your family home evening video that pushed your nominee to the top. It still makes me smile! Congratulations! I believe my acceptance speech would be JUST like yours:)lol

Wow, anything that helps my mom smile when she has PMS is sure a blessing...I tell you what...you must have magical powers or something.

I wish I knew what movie that number is from...but unfortunately i have a terrible memory. Good thing we have our special precognition gift....that is so crazy that we share that!

CHM- WOO HOO! I have a crappy link!!

Aubrey- It is indeed an 80's movie, but not Pretty in Pink. "His name is Blaine??"

Omar- If you knew it you'd get a prize too. But alas, you do not.

annie- Someone was messin' with all my good mail. Kayelyn's was missing her treat!! :( I'm sorry.

Nobody- I thought of putting a song from it, but a song is the actual title of this movie. So, do you know it??

Nancy- Yeah! Maybe I could make up the "MIDOL AWARD." :)

Yvonne- Thanks Yvonne. YOu're like the most loyal commentor ever.

S- I'm glad you "revealed" yourself. It's been fun having you.

Lauren- We totally share that. I don't even know if you were born when this movie came out.

Nobody wins the prize- besides my sister who I knew would get it. Here's the complete quote:

Drew: "Hey! What's the flying nun's phone number??"
Janey: "It's Un-listed!"
Lynn: "555"
Janey: "Lynn don't!!"
Lynn: "4102!"

Anybody else??!?!

I believe you are not only a worthy recipient of this award but that you are the prefect example of this award*
You make us all smile Tori :D

*This comment is completely unbiased. Has nothing to do with you being my twin, a Wolf Girl or having really cool music on your blog.
