Spoiled Rotten

I am. I admit it. I'm spoiled rotten. Sometimes Sei will say I'm a brat and I'll say, "Well, that's your fault." And it is. He should try telling me "NO" sometime. (Not really...)
Well, this anniversary was no different. I was spoiled. I woke the kids up for school and got dressed to go run. It was my week to take Tristan and his friends to school. As we're walking out to the car I see roses lying across the dashboard with a card. When did he do this??? Then as I'm backing out piano music starts playing. I was like, "What the heck cd is this??" Then I recognize the song: "I'll Be Loving You Forever" by New Kids on the Block. Then I realized... my husband had made a beautiful cd of his piano playing. 22 of my favorite songs, including "Open Arms", "Last of the Mohicans", "November Rain" and "Nothing Else Matters", "Lady", and others by Linkin Park, Muse and The Cranberries. It's so beautiful! And to know he made this cd FOR ME- Only ME- makes me cry. How cool is that?? We also went out to dinner and ice cream. My gift to him was lame according to the look on Sei's face. I got him seasons 1,2 and 3 of The Office on dvd. He was more excited about his other gift I gave him- chocolate. He's hard to shop for and I can't make him a cd. :( I made him a montage on my blog. Does that count??
Anyway.... it was a great anniversary. I love my husband so much. I'm lucky. And I'm spoiled rotten. What's wrong with that??

Oh you may be spoiled, but you are much sweeter than Veruca. She's just plain aggravating.

The reason Sei spoils you is well you are sweetly spoiled.

Awwwww! How sweet is he?
I've said it once, I'll say it again: You guys are so meant for each other. Sei rocks!

You're not spoiled, you are just very well taken cared of.

Hate you.

Seriously.

You make me miss the Hubs more and more! I see you like instrumental Metallica also?!

For the Hubs "happy Vasectomy" present I bought him Season 1 of 24 (that all that was out- this was five years ago!) He thought I was a retard. Men are hard to buy for!

Aww!! You guys are too cute! Nothing wrong with being spoiled!! And men would be more spoiled if they weren't so hard to shop for!

From one spoiled wife to another--there's nothing wrong with it ; ) I think the gift your Sei made for you was SO INCREDIBLY SWEET--anything my husband does that comes from the heart is so much better than anything purchased. I'm sure he loved the slide show you put together. (I know the rest of us did!!!) Happy Anniversary!!!

You deserve ALL the great surprises you received! The roses and CD waiting in the car...WOW! :D

I love the good old original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and I despise the remake! That song by Veruca Salt is my favorite in the movie. She's one bad egg! ;)

I love Veruca Salt. I went to a Bean Feast once.......the bathrooms were not a pretty sight or smell.

My Papi's birthday was on Monday. I cooked him a nice chipotle pork roast with all the side fixings, and that's it. He just had to bask in the delicious gift that is me.

Veruca is a name that gets tossed about quite a bit at my house whenever some little girl starts giving me attitude.
Happy Anniversary!

what a sweet and thoughtful husband. paul used to be that way but it's slowly dwindling away.. just thinking about how sei got up to put flowers on your car AND a cd in the cd player...that's awesome. the gifts i give to paul are all sweets. cake, cookies, etc. that's all he wants and what makes him happy. makes it easy on me. cool about getting sei the office seasons. we're mid watching ours of season 3! where'd you guys go for dinner?

Wow, the CD idea is impressive. What a sweet thoughtful gift! I hear you about men being hard to shop for, although Bri would've been thrilled about getting Sei's "Office" DVDs. :)

Veruca is one annoying little brat...

Anyway, I AM SO HAPPY you get spoiled! You so deserve it. What cute gifts he gave you! Make lots of copies of that CD so if you lost one, it would be ok! I am so glad you had a great day!
