Making out with make-believe

When I was having my grumpy post day So Grateful gave me a link to a cute meme on another blog. It was a Make Out meme. To do this meme I'm suppose to list: Ten Literary Characters I Would Totally Make Out With If I Were Single and They Were Real But I’m Not, Single I Mean, I Am Real, But I’m Also Happily Married and Want to Stay That Way So Maybe We Should Forget This.... :)
Now, I'm not a huge reader, so I'm gonna have to go with characters not only from books, but movies and TV shows too. And some of them I wouldn't want to make out with now, but at some point in my life I thought they were HAWT! I'll start with the most obvious and go on from there.
1. Jacob Black from the Twilight series. He's brown, dark, muscley, HAWT, easy-going, fun... All important in my book. And he loves me too. 2. Rocky Balboa. I didn't realize that until this morning. After working out I was lounging on the couch and Rocky IV was on. When Adrian yells "You can't win!!" poor Rocky's face just melted my heart. Rocky is a nice guy. He cares about people. He let's his slimy BIL live with him and accepts people for who they are. And the movie Rocky Balboa was so good- I forgive him for making Rocky V. This is my fave part of the movie (I have this song on my mp3. 2:38):

3. The blonde cop off CHIPS- Jonathan???. (This would be an obvious NOT NOW crush.) He was always so nice and funny. People always forgot about him because of Ponch.4. Joshua Steed from The Work & The Glory series. He's the bad boy. And I bet he was a good kisser. The guy who plays him in the movies... well, he played the young Tristan Ludlow in Legends of the Fall- which leads me to my next one.

5. Tristan Ludlow. NOT Brad Pitt- Tristan Ludlow. He was hot. He was manly and dirty and a jerk. In real life I probably wouldn't be interested. I'd probably be intimidated, but if I was not real and on a make-believe snowed-in ranch in Montana... Yummy. I carried this pic around in my wallet forever- until I met Sei.6. William Wallace. I realize he was a real person and I may even be related to him, but I'm talking about the WW portrayed by Mel Gibson in Braveheart. I have a thing for dirty guys with swords. So romantic and sweet and strong... "I love ya. I always have. I want to marry you." 7. The older brother- Brand on Goonies. I don't know why exactly. I guess cuz he had that awesome bandana on his head and was always workin' out... And the way he protected his little brother. Awww...

8. Noah Calhoun. He's in a book & a movie!! I've never read the book though... He's just very, I don't know, REAL. But I love him as an old man- how he takes care of his wife even though she can't remember him. LOVE him. I wouldn't want to make out with the old man character though... Call me shallow.

9. Davey Osbourne (played by Henry Thomas) in Cloak and Dagger. I loved this movie and I thought Davey was the bomb dot com! He was smart, cute, brave and he lived in Texas. I really thought it could work.
10. Indiana Jones. Need I really say more?? He's smart, brave- even when he was faced with snakes, HAWT, adventurous... He's SO not boring.11. Just for good measure. Nephi from the Living Scriptures videos (and the Book of Mormon of course.) I realize he's a real person, but as a cartoon character he's looking pretty good. I'm just sayin'. I really like the Stripling Warriors. They're are brown and muscely and love their moms... I couldn't find a pic, but I did find this:

FIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRST

I better hurry.

OK, I have a problem with Ponch also. Everyone and their dog loved him and I was always like, "Huh?" Plus his name rhymes with "paunch" - as in "fat gut."

Amen on Tristan. I had to stop myself from licking the monitor.

That was really cute. I didn't think anyone else saw Cloak and Dagger. I'm a huge Rocky Fan--didn't like Rocky V either (and hated the speech in Rocky IV).

PS: I never like Ponch. Poncharelo sounded like "Ponchado" which is slang for "buff". Whatever dude.

Mel Gibson, mmmmmmmm, yu-u-um-y.

Nicholas Cage- should have been the good guy in the end on "Face Off." I like John Travolta, but I'd much prefer Cage. He's so hawt in Ghost Rider.

I'm going to find Allen now, bye.

I remember Cloak and Dagger!

These are all great, YOU FUNNY.

I had a crush on Skippy on Family Ties and Buddy on Charles in Charge.

Sister - I knew all of these and was still cracking up that you actually admitted half of them. I might have to steal this post. And the one before it.

have you figured out how we pay taxes on smorty? like if we were at a job we went to everyday? do they take taxes out? just was wondering if you knew how this works?

the bomb dot com...

You are too cool! I wish you were just a little less cool so we could be real friends. I'm so much less cool that if we met in real life I would only laugh a dorky laugh and never be able to think of something to actually say.

ps - Rocky? I've never seen a rocky movie. I may have to...

Yep, I can see you and Jacob getting all make-y out-y...if you were single and he was real...WAIT! He is!

I ♥ Rocky BIG TIME! We have all six movies...Rocky V was just unfortunate.

I go for the good guy, Nathan Steed!

Lauren and I both ♥ Joe Black...NOT Brad Pitt!

I'm with Suzanne and Carronin!

I thought I was the only one thinkin' cartoon Nephi was HAWT...Helaman ain't so bad himself! ;)

Tori :) said...

Allison- As far as I can tell, it's like you're self-employed or doing contract labor. You will have to pay the taxes yourself.

Lauren said...

Ya, now that you admitted it, Nephi is hott in those movies...and Helaman! They are all buff and musculine and righteous. Nice.

I love that guy from Goonies!

I love Brad Pitt's face...

Noah Calhoun is amazing....

Jacob Black is so yours :)

Those cops just look foolish haha!

Cloak and Dagger rocks!

Indiana Jones is the man.

Nephi is looking pretty good there, even for a cartoon. You know who else is a hawt cartoon? Shang from Mulan...

Stacey said...

Forgot to say that I love Brand too. I used to think Kerri Green was so dang lucky!

CHEL said...

I LOVE INDIE!
So much that we almost named Jaxon Indy!

Anyway, I wouldn't have thought about the chips guy or the hot older brother goonies guy... but now that you mention it....

I totally agree.

I can't say I'd mind being snowed in with Tristan either. If I wasn't married and he was real or I was not real and in the movie too...you get the idea. :o)

My first and longest crush was Bo Duke. I was about 4 or 5, but I loved him and thought he was sooo hot!

Annie said...

So, what you are saying is that you are into guys with long hair?

JustRandi said...

Yea! Another smart woman in camp Jacob! My daughters think I'm nuts, but I just think they're immature.
Because, you know, the height of maturity is being realistic enough to pick the werewolf over the vampire. Not to mention he's hotter, too.
I'm just sayin'.

I'm going to get you a subscription to 'Dirty, Stinky Men's Monthly', for Christmas, Tori. Aight?

Tori :) said...

Stacy- I totally forgot about Shang! OMGosh- LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS! He's a hottie.

Tori :) said...

Annie- Yeah, I think I like long hair- except on my husband, since he's... bald.

Stacey said...

Totally! Like the part where he takes off his shirt and Mulan makes an "Ooooh" motion with her lips? Yeah, that was me too.

jenica said...

you're way too funny. i really need to get those stephanie meyers books! ;-D

Pezlady said...

I have to tell you...I was just reading through this post of yours, totally agreeing with all of them and my six-year old daughter walks in the room, looks at the computer and says "there's Nephi. He's handsome". So there you have it!!
