Awkward Christmas Dinner Moment

**Edited to add: Just for the record- I am not into bondage. At all. Except for the 007 kind of Bond.**

We- my parents, sister, BIL, Sei-were having a family-friendly discussion about how men can't just roll over in bed like normal people. They flop and pull and flip themselves over like a 9 month pregnant woman. I made the comment that I don't think Sei and I move around very much when we're sleeping to which Sei replied with what he thought was a funny response:
"Well, you can't roll over because I have you tied down to the bed."

Awkward pause.
Still awkward.
3 hours later... (If you're a Spongebob fan then you got that. If not, nevermind.)

I'm not sure exactly what he meant, but in my mind it was BAD- Miss Jackson if you're nasty. So, being the dork I am I tried to cover it the best way I know how by totally pointing it out to everyone.
"I don't know what you meant, but that sounded really bad- especially in front of my parents!!"

Yeah. Good Tori. That totally helped.

"So THAT's how it is in their family." (What movie?)

PS. My little brother, Woogs, got engaged tonite. I'll write about that later. It was very sweet and I was totally spying from upstairs. :D

AWKWARD, Hahaha! :D

"They flop and pull and flip themselves over like a 9 month pregnant woman." That's pretty much the way I roll over...and I'm definitely not pregnant.

We had an awkward moment like that in my family years ago and it is still brought up on occasion. At least now we all laugh about it!

Yay for little brother! I can't wait to hear the story.

Well, what did your parent's and everyone else say?

Allen rolls over like that. I swear some nights he dang near bounces me out of bed!

Perhaps I should tie him down to the bed. Hmmm. He would enjoy it. I'll just tell him he's 007:P

Love the Spongebob reference.

I knew it was Ferris Bueller's immediately.....it's the warm and squishy gummie bears in my pocket that whispered the answer to me.
