Engagements and B00bs

~ So, Woogs proposed to his girl the other nite. Her name is **Lissette and she's really, really cute. I have pics on my camera, but again- not my computer so I don't know how to do them here. So, he bought her this ginormous (compared to my sliver) engagment ring and a scarf, gloves and beanie. He put the ring on the glove and wrapped them all up. (Ok, my mom actually wrapped it all pretty, but whatever.) She was so cute when she opened the gift. She was looking at the beanie and probably thinking "This guy is so lame..." when she noticed the ring on the the finger of the glove. She tossed the beanie over her shoulder and got all excited. Walker smiled and got down on his knee and said... I don't know because I was spying from upstairs. But I'm sure it was something along the lines of "Will you do me the honor of being my wife? Please! I have a really cool sister." They hugged and kissed (WHAT!?!? He kisses her???!!?! He's just a baby!!) and then after waiting the appropriate 30 seconds or so, my mom and I ran in to take pics. :) It was all way cute and I'm excited to get to know her. And babysit their kids. Oh wait, that would mean they'd have to... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

**~ She DID NOT notice my zipper in Vegas. I repeat she DID NOT notice the zipper and turquiose hairband. I asked her within the 1st few minutes of her being here. See- I told you.... no shame. If you don't know what I'm talking about clickety here.

~ Tonite Alec asked me to make him some chicken noodle soup. I grabbed a can of Campbells, but the label was pink for Brea$t Cancer Awareness. Alec grabbed the generic red can and this conversation took place:

A: I like this kind.
Me: It's the same thing except this is for brea$t cancer.
A: What's brea$t cancer?
Me: Cancer of the brea$t.
A: What's a brea$t?
Me: A b00b.
A: Then why do I need it?

LOL! He thought that can of soup prevented brea$t cancer or something. :) Then I had to explain that men could get brea$t cancer too, but that's not a funny part so I won't go into detail.

Congrats to your brother and his future bride!!!! I especially love the part about having a cool sister. That was the clincher I'm sure! ;) What a relief that she didn't notice your zipper! :)

That is too funny about the soup!

Woohooo!! Congrats Woogs :) And what a cute placement for the ring (awww).

She didn't notice the zipper and fancy turquiose hairband? Interesante. That's a sure sign your baby bro is marrying muy very good.

So the pink cans don't prevent breast cancer? How disappointing. Alec is cute. That's a funny conversation you two had.

So cool about your brother. For the record: it's easier to see your baby brother kiss a girl than your son. Yeah, just keep that in mind when you think about tending babies.

Take care cool sister to the newly engaged.

Congrats to your little brother! At least he got engaged to a girl you guys like - always a good thing! Trust me.

I love that Alec thought the pink can would prevent cancer.

I actually met my SIL for the first time in Vegas also. We all just happened to be on vacation at the same time.

Just tell them not to have babies...then they won't have to do that. That's what my cousin told me ;) haha. I will never get over that conversation.

That is a really cute way to propose!!

The pink campbell's can sicks me out...I imagine it tasting like bubblegum.

Congrats, to Woogs! I have a sliver for a ring, too!

Now that you asked her, she'll check your zipper every time she sees you and she and Woogs will chart how many times it is down. ;p That is what married siblings do, turn on their siblings and side with their wife! I know from experience! LOL

Oh, and Happy New Year. You can tell I am a dad. I'm at home blogging on New Year's Eve because the baby is sick and the wife went to the party by herself. She really really owes me!

So it's official: Woogs will not be my son-in-law.
