Meeting Woog's girlfriend

So... when I went to Vegas I got to meet my little brother's girlfriend. They actually met on his mission when he had dinner at her house. She told her mom to have him write her- she was in school in Utah. She wrote him and he wrote back. They wrote the rest of his mission, although he didn't see her again after that meal. Anyway, I guess he has fallen head over heels for her and she has for him. She flew down to Texas 2 weeks after he got home. Then he went to Vegas for Thanksgiving and I think she's flying to Texas again this month. We ate dinner with her family who seem just as normal as can be. Her mom was super sweet- especially for having my ginormous gang over!!
So, anyway, I met his girlfriend in Vegas. She's a cute girl- didn't talk a lot, but it's hard to talk a lot when you're with Woogs. (Because HE talks a lot!) Plus she was probably a little overwhelmed by my 4,000 kids and our movie-quoting family. I wonder if she noticed that my zipper was down when I met her?! Not just down- it's way worse than that. The jeans I had on had a screwy zipper that likes to come down all the time. So, I used a hairband looped thru the zipper pull hooked on my button to keep it up. Well, apparently at the last pit stop on our drive to Vegas I forgot to hook the hairband onto the button. So, not only was my zipper down, but there was a turquiose hairband sticking out from the zipper pull. Holy embarrassing! I'll have to ask her when I see her after Christmas if she noticed my zipper... She probably did. Chicks always notice weird things like that. I'll ask her and I'll report back. I have no shame.

hey, as long as that hair thing coordinated with your outfit it was a fashion accessory-
could become a new trend

Zipper stuff like that always happens to me. I wish I could laugh it off like you! How fun that you got to meet your brother's girlfriend! Do you think there is a wedding in the making? :)

how wierd! my brother met a girl on his mission whom he's corresponding with. but they're definitely not flying back and forth to see each other since she's in mexico. that is hilarious (and embarassing) about the zipper on your jeans! i have some old jeans like that and i've had too many of those instances where i leave a place, look down, and notice that my zipper is halfway down. embarassing! so, i've just had to wear dresses over those jeans that have that problem and finally had to buy a new pair.

Love Jean Knee's comment about you starting a new trend. Next time you go to Vegas that may be what everyone is wearing!!! I love how you can laugh about stuff like that ; ).

Oh man. I can't possibly express now or ever how good that was.
Thank you Tori. Your unzipped jeans + hairband made my day.

PS: Next time you meet her, have Sei wear his Halloween costume!

Oh Tori. Coming here, always brings a smile. Thank you for your warmth.

I think it is really neat that you are going home.

We should have a big lunch out, before you go.

I bet his girlfriend loves you even more 'cause your zipper was down with a turquoise hangy thing...makes that "meet the family" experience so much less stressful! ;)

That would bug me for the rest of my life if I didn't say something to her. So I am glad you are going to ask her and find out what her initial thoughts were. Interested in seeing what her impression was. Hilarious story!

This kinda puts me in an awkward position Tori...I mean, I thought Woogs and I were to be married. Do I have to take this girl down or what?!
