Oooh, a warning!!

Last nite we were under a "Winter Storm Warning." What does that mean? That is was going to rain and it was going to be under 32 degrees. Yep. That was the warning. That way people would know to be careful when driving. The kids were hoping school would be canceled or delayed due to icy roads. Nope. Alec actually cried. What a nerd!! In Utah they'd go to school with a foot of snow- and still have outside recess!!

I guess I'm a nerd too because I practically cried this morning too! I was really looking forward to heading back to bed after checking for school closings.

Well, I live in Alabama and any kind of winter storm warning is a big deal for us.

Our schools were cancealed last week and we only had about 2 inches of snow.

Of course, it only "snows" here once every 6 or 7 years, so.....

Winter Storm Warning in Houston means to put on your socks and wear something over your shorts. :)

Oh am I laughing my bootay off!!

Yep we have about a foot of snow piled up all over, there is still snow on the ground, and it hasn't been above 32 degrees for days.

School, work, shopping, crappy drivers are all still a happening in good ol' Utah!!
