Mom and Daughter Picnic

Today Izzy and I went to a Mom & Daughter Picnic. It was a "PIG nic" theme with pigs-n-blankets for lunch and little piggy cupcakes. We played a "Newlywed" type game which was rather interesting... Isabel and I did ok. We placed 2nd. The funniest(?) question was when they asked what MY most embarrassing moment was. I answered that I rarely get embarrassed anymore, but probably when Taj jumped on someone else's car. But that's not what Izzy said. She answered, "In the morning." I was confused and said, "In the morning? What do you mean?" "How you look." "You mean because I'm so ugly in the morning." "Yes." Alrighty then.... thanks Iz.
Later when the question was reversed she sat there trying to think of her most embarrassing moment and I said, "Is it when your ugly mom drops you off at school in the morning??"

HA! You are hilarious! I love it.
Nice how we find out what our kids REALLY think when we least expect it.

I am laughing because it's NOT me!!! I think I'll check with my girls to see what they think. Are there any other questions I should consider asking them?

I love that Izzy. She is fun. I especially love how she speaks her mind.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my kids would've said the same thing about me.

Wow, our children really know how to keep us humble! (She doesn't know what she's talking about...you could never be ugly!)
