My husband is tough... thank goodness

Sei got tased TWICE yesterday as part of a training at the police academy. One woman that was tased said she'd rather give birth again rather than being tased again. I told Sei that is ridiculous. They were tased 5 whole seconds. I was in labor 29 hours with Tristan AND recuperating for 6 weeks after that. But whatever... I'm also pretty sure getting tased doesn't require stitches in your crotch. Right? I will have pics and hopefully a video of Sei being tased up on my blog soon. When I saw the pic I started crying I was laughing so hard. I'm sure it hurt. I know it did. I mean, the things that shoot into look like a needle with a tiny fish hook on the end. But still- worse than childbirth??
This was his 3rd or 4th time to be tased b/c he was tased in Utah too. My husband is tough. He didn't scream. He didn't fall. He just made a really, REALLY ugly face. I am so glad he wasn't one of the men writhing in pain on the floor. 'Mommy!'
He was on SWAT in Utah and had to attend Hell Week SWAT training. It was a tough week. I mean, I was home alone with the kids... Just kidding, I'm sure it was tougher on him. ;) But anyway, he has the dvd from Hell week and I swear there are some men on there that are BABIES. There is NO WAY my pride would let me be the slowest person running or the one falling down the dirt hill because I am tired. The funniest part was the gas house. They had to go thru without a mask. OMGosh!! Some of those guys made/make me totally LOL!!! The one that fell down on his knees and fluttered his hands all gay in front of his chest... Yeah, call him to protect me...not. But my man came out looking all tough. No crying. No falling. Just lookin' all hawt!!! I am so glad my man isn't a wimp. I would have been embarrassed to watch my husband act like some of those other "men."

What a guy!!! I am very glad that the pics and video will be of him being tased and not the stitches ; )

You laughed when he was hurting ; (
(Well, we won't talk about what a problem that sort of thing is for me--someone falls down and is hurt and my normal response is to laugh)

I don't think I would want to be tased EVER--but then pregnancies were tough for me, delivery was a whole lot easier.

You laughed when he was hurting? Maybe that's why he's so tough.

I laughed AFTER the fact. The pic is totally funny!

I laughed at my tough brother when he got tased, too. He looked tough and took it like a man, but his face was all contorted and it was hilarious.

I must say I'd rather not be tased or give birth again. Pregnancy and childbirth was not kind and I've seen how tough guys act when tased. This wimp will pass.

"stitches in your crotch"

I could have gone my whole life without reading that ;)

If I ever got tased (which I won't!!) I'd be worst than that guy who "fluttered his hands all gay in front of his chest". Furthermore, I think I'd pee myself.

Fo sho.

Trading hours of contractions might be worth a tase. But who am I judge?

Your hubby is the man! You already know that, of course! :)

My cute daughter-in-law told me today that she feels so bad when her hubby (my son Ty) stubs his toe or something, but she ALWAYS laughs! I loved it, tee hee! :D
