Lakers vs Mavs

Last nite the Lakers played my Mavericks. Tension was thick in our house. Sei is a die hard Lakers fan and I am a Mavs fan. (Just in case you couldn't figure it out....) Sei was trying to talk trash when the Lakers were up by 25. But my Mav's rallied BIG TIME. Dirk sunk a few 3's. It was nice. :( Before the game was over I told Sei that he should really be wishin' his Lakers lose if he wants to get lucky because if the Mavs lose I would be sad and probably get a headache. I was totally kidding but all the sudden he started making nice comments about the Mavs. ("Wow! They've really come back!" "Ooh, that was a nice shot!") But alas, my Mavs lost by 2. :( Sei was trying to console me but it didn't work. Then he said something like "If Kobe scored 30 then the guys are buying me lunch tomorrow." Kobe scored 29 and I was happy.

The End

I HATE the Lakers. HATE THEM. I HATE Kobe. Sounds harsh, huh? I don't hate any other team or player, but I feel strongly about that. Withhold putting out for at least a couple weeks.

I can't stand Kobe either. Cocky little adulterer. Although if he bought me a $4 million diamond ring he may win my love and forgiveness like he did with his wife. NOT.

Poor _irk.

Go Eastern conference! (I grew up a Knicks fan, but I know better than to say something silly like "Go Knicks!" unless I'm cheering for them to win the draft lottery.)

You are too funny. I'm having a great laugh with this post.

I also love your comment about Kobe--I am not a Kobe fan AT ALL!!

Just wanted to point out how well the Jason Kidd trade is working out for the Mavs. 0-6 against winning teams. Good job.

LOL at Stacy's comment!

Mr. admits that he will say anything. He's not shy about it.

Not much of a Basket ball fan. That said I am glad you are, cause someone's got to root for 'em. ;)

The only time I get upset with my wife is when The Lakers are playing and she starts to make her little comments. I don't know why but it PISSES me off. If Kobe's wife can forgive him, so can we! Get over it CHEL and embrace the dynasty in the making. Omar, good luck with your Knicks. Feel free to jump on the Laker band wagon anytime. Tori is finally coming around and is going to take this Dirk junk off her blog.

Ha ha ha ha. That's a total guy thing to do huh? Once ANYTHING involves "it", boy do they change. I giggled to myself when I read that he started to cheer on the Mavs. :D
I'm sorry they lost :( I don't watch too much basketball...except for when Hubby and his friend play it on Playstation, ha ha.

What's up with the anonymous commenter? Talk about rude. Is he too embarassed to say who he is. If not, then why be anonymous?

Sorry, I don't usually say anything but for some reason that totally bugged.
