Coming out of my shell

Embarrassing moments are inevitable. They're gonna happen! Here's a video about one of my most embarrassing moments:

Now, a huge zit on the 1st day of junior high is pretty embarrassing, but I had to learn to get past it and come out of my shell so people could get to know me! Another way to "come out of your shell" is by trying new things. Having the opportunity to eat Gulf oysters can be a special treat. They provide a low calorie protein that are an excellent source of zinc, vitamin B-12, and omega-3 fatty acids. But it is important to be aware!! If you are at-risk, you do not want to eat undercooked oysters as it may cause serious illness or even death from Vibrio vulnificus bacteria. If you have liver disease, diabetes or a weak immune system, you should avoid raw oysters altogether. So, go ahead and try something new. Just be sure to know the facts and risks before eating oysters. ENJOY!

If it makes you feel any better, I don't remember either of those things and I can be pretty darn sure no one else from that day does either...

I just tried oysters for the first time in February, when went out of state to you-know-where to do you-know-what. Bleh! I'll leave them, but at least I can say I tried them.

LOL at your VLOG! Unpoppable zits were the worst in middle school! :O
