Why we don't plant flowers...

Once upon a time there was a 2 year old. There was also a small flower bed. The 2 yr old LOVED flowers.

But, mom, it was so pretty.

I remember when my son went outside and brought me in a beautiful tulip. I got after him for going into the neighbor's yard and picking tulips--turned out they were in my backyard.

Too cute! Ryan did that at my Grandma's house when he was about two. I thought she was gonna flip!

I don't know why my kids weren't into picking my flowers when they were little...maybe my flowers were UGLY! Haha! :D

A long time ago I had a couple of two year old girls who picked all my flowers. Now they plant them. Maybe I'll go pick theirs;) Nawwwww. It is a funny thought though.

Cute Livie. She looks so happy with her flowers.

Darling blog,
This is exactly why I specialize in growing Dandelions instead of real flowers. You bet I encourage them to go pick those flowers that look like golden sunshine.

Substitute inconsiderate neighbor dogs for two-year old girl and you see why I'm spending less time and less money on my yard these days.

She is so stinkin' cute. Jaxon loves to pick flowers, but brings them to me...so I can't get mad! She is so adorable. I'm sure her and Jak could be best friends!
