Weekend Recap

I had Tristan, Alec and Isabel this past weekend and it was WON.DER.FUL!!!! I stress so much and let my ex get to me so much. But when the kids were here I was reminded- my kids LOVE ME!!! They really do. Alec started crying when he was telling me about a time when he had asked the ex if they could stop by our house to say "hello." He, of course, didn't let them. Alec just started crying which made me cry. :( I'm so glad I get them again the 4th of July weekend. That is, if I don't croak running the 5k that morning.

We swam and actually raced doing laps. That was entertaining to anyone else at the pool because my swim is kind of a deformed doggie paddle with an occasional roll over onto my back. We barbecued with the missionaries. We played tetherball on the new tetherball Sei set up.
We played in the sprinkler and kiddie pool....

We caught frogs. Lots of frogs. Like 13.
And we built a frog hotel. Which is housing the 13 frogs...
Taj was in heaven having "his Alec" home. Alec is so good with him and Taj just loves him to death. Isabel informed us that she was a total brat at the ex's house. I'm not sure why, but I guess I'm glad it's there and not here!
And that's the weekend recap.
Happy Anniversary to my parents today! They totally forgot and I reminded them. I think it's been 37 years. They are in Vegas so I guess they can celebrate there!
Happy Birthday to my SIL, Irena!!

Taj is now attending a vacation bible school at the baptist church down the street. He is LOVING it and I think it's good for him to get out- away from me.
I leave for Vegas on Thursday for my brother's wedding. He is getting married on Saturday, so I will have time to attend the "Chippendales: Thunder from Down Under" show on Friday. ;)

And just in case "Anonymous" from my Rosemary's Baby post wasn't totally convinced I was a horrible mother, I present Tajy doing "Get Low." Now it's official. Enjoy.

Wait wait wait. I was totally OK with the tantrum, but now that I know you're teaching them Flo Rida songs, I'm concerned for their well being!

Happy anniversary to the swamp parents!

I have Teether Shoulder from playing with my kids. Boy #1 and I are well matched. We finally just have to call it a draw because it takes to long for one of us to win.

Of course your kids love you (duh!) they know quality and truthiness.

Thanks for linking to the Rosemary's Baby post. I was out IRL and missed that whole thing about "my kids are going to be perfect little angels and..." BWAHAHAHAHA truly hilarious and oh so ironic, isn't? ;)

What precious kids! Glad to hear you had a great time! Of course they love you.

Hopefully the Thunder from Down Under doesn't refer to intestinal wo. Otherwise hope the trip is a blast! No pun intended. ;)

My favorite thing about living in texas as a kid was finding frogs...just about everywhere! :D
