Deep thoughts about the Olympics by Tori :)

How you doin' Ryan Lochte????

Could you be a little more cocky Usain Bolt??
Holy NO cellulite. I want my legs to look like Nastia's.

Said to me by Tristan while watching the Olympics:
"You're no fun to watch the Olympics with! Everything makes you cry!!"
Yeah. So?

Oh, I thought the exact thing about Usain Bolt--in fact, I turned to Allan and said, "he's just a little too cocky for me". Kind of reminds me a little of Donovan Bailey a few years ago--I know he's Canadian, but I'm sorry just a tad too full of himself and we all know how that turned out ; )

I've loved getting to watch the Olympics! I've been trying to stay up late so I don't miss anything!

Yep, I think most of us would like Nastia's body! Oh and love your Joey line! :D

Yummy, I mean, did I say that out loud? How embarassing....

The olympics have been so fun to watch!! You aren't the only one crying. Last night I found myself crying for the 33 year old gymnast...Holy cow, 33 years old. And Saturday I was crying for the 41 year old swimmer. Did you hear what she said to her daughter? "Don't put an age limit on your dreams"! What inspiring women!

Yeah, I've been pretty teary through the whole thing, too.

Love the randomness!

I'm all teary too. Glad I'm not the only dork.
I'd take Alicia's body over Nastia's any day. I'm for muscle, not skin and bones. :) I know Alicia is tiny, but she has a better build.
oh the days of no cellulite... they passed me long ago!

I'm hearing you on the Lochte thing. .... need I say more?

That girl looks like a refugee camp victim. You have a great body (she said non-rainbow-ly).

The guy with half a white Speedo really needs to get some clothes on. ;)

Hmm.......at my age, one is just happy to be alive! Muscle, skin, bones and all :) Did Tori tell you the vampire girl dies at the end of the book?? Ask her about it :( Now, that will make you cry eh eh eh eh eh

Yeah she is alive HI! I have been so addicted to the Olympics. I am not working out, I am not eating, I am dreaming about flips and dives, and staying up super late every night. Man I can't wait for it to be over so I can get ON with life. I am glad the mid day is kinda slow:) But I do have time to read your blog cuz I am so interested!

Loving the Olympics, though I haven't cried once. Not yet.

I generally hate showboating in sports, but I'm captivated by Usain Bolt. He's doing stuff that nobody's ever seen before (running world record times so easily). And as a 21 year old kid in his first Olympics, I think he's entitled to partake in a little tom foolery. That said, I'd expect to see him act a little differently should he win the 200m also.

Wait, hang on, I'm getting a little bit teary watching Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh. I'd better stop here.

All I have to say to Lochte is this:

"HeeeEEEEeeey!"

But I would say the same thing to Michael Phelps.

Umm...can I please look like Nastia? Puuuulease?

Nastia is a great gymnast...but I think she's skin and bones, too!

I LOVE crying over the Olympics...I do NOT love Speedo's...ugh! :0

This has absolutely nothing to do with your post. When I saw it all thoughts left my head but this one. . . That is a great family picture you have. I like the new one. It shows how much your kiddos have grown.

i like the white swim trunks that look like tightie whities......heh heh heh.

We don't get good TV reception here, and stupid NBC won't let anyone watch online unless they are paying subscribers to cable or dish...so unfortunately for us...we have not gotten to see ANY Olympics. I'm kind of torked about it too...

Whenever I watch a bio of an athlete- it doesn't matter what country they are from- I then start rooting for them because I find out some little tidbit about their life, and I am a weeping, sniffling gonner!

usain bolt WAS super cocky but wasn't it AAAMAZING to see how fast he could run. i plan on going up to the high school and running 100 meters and seeing how fast i can do it compared to his almost 10 seconds. amazing.

those whities are also called dah duh dah duhs.

I haven't heard how Nastia's name is to be pronounced, but I thought when I read it that it was much more like an onomatopoeia.

Nasty-ugh. I concur with the holocaust victim consensus.

Ironically Onomatopoeia does not even come close to being an onomatopoeia.

Weird.

Maybe I'll quite being rude...

Ok, ok- Yes, Nastia is skin and bones. I was referring more to the fact that her legs and butt do not jiggle when she walks and have absolutely NO dents from fat. That's what I want. Non-jiggly legs and butt. She is taller and thinner than a lot of the other gymnast. I will take ANY gymnast non-cellulite body.

Nastia is also a fave of Isabel's so, that's why she came to mind. (And she was raised about 40 miles from my town!!)

I decided I love Ryan Lochte...even more than Phelps!
