Hey remember when I said...

- That Livie was now sleeping in her toddler bed and that she wouldn't even come out of her room when she woke up. (Oct. 2) Yeah, well... scratch that. She no longer has a problem coming out of her room when she wakes up- no matter what time it is. Usually it's around 4am and she just gets into bed with me, which is a lot better than Taj used to be. He'd come in our bed before I even went to sleep. I still liked how she slept so well less than 2 weeks ago.

- I was going "cold turkey" on the Diet Dr Pepper. (Oct. 6) Yeah, well... scratch that too. I DID go cold turkey for about 4 days. And it sucked. I was tired. I was craving sweets. I was grumpy. I can not imagine being addicted to meth or something because caffeine was bad enough. So, I am now back on the juice- but I drink a lot less than before. However, I will not tell you how much I drink now, so don't ask.

- I don't like people from other countries telling me how to vote. (June 3, 2007) Well, I still don't. But I'm gonna expand that to I don't like ANYONE telling me how to vote. This is MY blog, so I can post political stuff in my sidebar if I want, but I would never go over to a democratic friend's blog (*cough* Omar *cough*) and tell him he's wrong. And I sure wouldn't bring it up at a table at a church function with other adults who are clearly just trying to hang out and have fun who I know are not voting the same way as me. It's annoying and rude. She's lucky I bit my tongue, because I have lots to say about LDS democrats, but I keep it (mostly) to myself. They have the right to be wrong. That's what free agency is all about. ;) (Remember- this is MY blog. I can say whateva I want. It's all in passive-aggressive fun.)

- Livie is my last baby. (Lots of times thru out the last 2.5 years.) Yeah, well...

that is still totally the truth. :)

You totally had me going. Tricky girl.

Sorry to hear about Livie's out of bedness. That's why I'm not being pushing about getting Glitter into a bed. At. All.

Sorry about the Diet DP,but at least you tried right?

Political "discussions" are so fun..but not really.

I hope Livie starts staying in her bed soon. It's so hard to sleep when kids are in the bed. Brady has stayed out of our bed for 2 nights...now I probably just jinxed myself.

YOU REALLY, REALLY had me going!!!

Voting is a personal thing.

Wait. What? Oh you naughty woman!
;)

Last election, right before Sacrament, while we are listening to the gentle piano music this guy in front of us, starts ranting (with no prodding whatsoever) against Republicans and the President.
We just ignored him.
UGH! That was the last time I ever talked to that guy.

I'll just be glad when the political stuff is over. I'm over it. I have my preference on who I want to be our next Prez, but honestly I'm just looking forward to turning over a new leaf no matter who wins.

Is DDP bad? I know the caffeine is a no-no, but isn't just about everything tainted these days? I mean the chemicals they spray on veggies and fruits can't be good for us either, huh?

Good luck with Livie and the DDP diet. I know you can do it!

Not even a week?! Tori! I was kidding when I said you wouldn't last a week!

My son stays in his room at night because we put one of those kid-proof doorknob handle things on the inside of his door. That doesn't make me a bad parent, does it?

I went through every comment you've ever left on both of my blogs, and you've only used the word "wrong" twice. And you weren't talking about me in either instance. So I have no reason to doubt your claim that you would never come to my blog and tell me I'm wrong. (Of course, why would you? Because aside from that one time in 1994, I've never been wrong.)

I read your post in my feed reader. Sometimes, pictures in posts don't load properly in my feed reader. So when I saw the big gap after mentioning that Livie is your last baby, for the briefest of seconds, I thought there was an ultrasound picture or something, and that baby #18 was on the way. You got me. Good one :)

you know i couldn't support the quitting of the diet dr--there is no good reason.

4 days is 4 days longer than i would have lasted.

welcome back, tori :)!

Omar-
Sei put one of those thingies on Liv's doorknob too, but I feel bad for her and open her door at nite so she can get out if she's scared. I'm a dork and just asking for a 2 yr old in my bed I guess...

Yeah MW's little man BL was doing the same thing, and he still does. There were a few times before I moved out where he would climb into bed with me at 3 or 4 am. Except he has to be touching you when he's asleep, which I didn't realize until later. So he would be laying sideways and I'd have all of two inches of space...on a queen sized bed. Kids are funny.

OK, holy cow!!! You had me scared with the Livie being your last baby comment!!!

Sorry about Livie not sleeping good anymore. That is a bummer!

I am impressed that you went 4 days without DP. I say take it slowly....

Who was messing with you about politics? Don't even go there!! ;)

I agree that you should switch back to regular.

Hey, less DDP is still a step up, right?

And congratulations on your non-pregnancy!
You definitely had me going!

Holy Crap!!! That is what I said when I read about the politics over dinner at church. Oh, and the baby thing. Ya'll got me, too!

I don't talk politics to anyone. I hate politics. Yes, the former elected neighborhood chair said that. I'm so sick of hearing about it that I tune it all out. Mr gets frustrated cause he watches the crap and I refuse to. :P

I'm voting for Omar anyway.

Well, you sure had me going with that last one. :)

I don't envy you having to go off Dr. Pepper. At all. I've heard that's yucko.

I have the same issue with other countries telling me how to vote. Solve your own problems before you all get up in my face. And for all those other-country people who think America is at fault for this war... I don't think we're alone over there in Iraq or Afghanistan. Obviously their countries must have some kind of allegiance to us if they're over there, doing the same thing we are. So hush.

This is Tori's blog and I'll be political on it if I want. ;)

I think we need a name here.

YOU ARE A DOG!!
You fooled Nobody. BIG TIME. My heart completely stopped beating. I do not liked to be tricked so entirely Miss Tori. You are grounded!

There's another part of this post I found ALMOST unbelievable.
You bit your tongue? Really? Are you kidding me? This does not make for interesting blog posts---you biting your tongue and whatnot.

I lied. I loved this post.

There are so many things that I do not have control over. But my blog is the one place where I totally rule! My sandbox, my rules.

Good job asserting dominion over your own blog.

Well, my 3 year-old just started coming into our bed the last couple of months after NEVER ever doing that... so I am pulling my hair out right now!!! (actually last night he slept on a beanbag in his sister's room so that I could get some sleep!)
At least you slowed down on the DDP- hard, hard to do.
And, I never have been able to understand Mormon Democrats... does not compute to me.
I am addicted to the election stuff and I just can't seem to take much more- I am uber-maxed!
And yes, your blog is your casa! Like it or leave it. ♥

here through nobody... cause she says your awesome...

I am wholeheartedly addicted to cherry coke. It isn't even diet. I drink it and love it and miss it when I'm done. When I start to feel like my skin is carbonated and my jeans no longer fit, I stop, cold turkey for a few weeks or months or whatever. But the joy, the joy of buying one and sitting somewhere alone and quiet to enjoy it's goodness never ever goes away. If I drank alcohol, me thinks I would be in trouble.

Once, right after my last baby was born, I woke up with four children in my bed... four children, two grown ups, in a queen size bed. My discomfort made me question ever having children, or at least letting them sleep inside.

You had me going too. You are so mean!
I just don't talk to anyone, that way politics never becomes an issue.
I just want to close my eyes and sing "LALALALAAAAAAH" until after the election (other than casting my vote."
