MISSING!!!

Our beloved pet snake, Wormy, is missing. Taj opened her cage yesterday- without telling anyone- and didn't shut it properly. And now she's missing. Corn snakes are escape artists. She has escaped twice before, but we always found her sitting on the desk. Not this time. We've looked high and low for her. She can fit just about anywhere so who knows where she's hiding. Thankfully it's not cold here so the cold won't kill her and she just ate not too long ago so she can probably go about 4 - 6 weeks and be ok. I am thankful for that. But it's just weird to know she's in our home, hiding, somewhere and I don't know where. We set up a "trap" last nite- a bowl of water under a lamp surroundeded by flour in the middle of the room. We were hoping she'd come out to bask in the warm lite and then leave a trail of flour. Negative Ghostrider. We will have to try again and be patient.
COME HOME WORMY!!! :(

HOw about, "cringing at the thought of a snake in a cage in my house"?

I hope, for your sake, that wormy comes home soon.

I would be freaked!

Of course I am a mean mommy and would never let my kids have a snake for a pet.

When I was single, I had a roomate that had a snake just like that. One night it got out of it's cage and we couldn't find it for 2 weeks. We lived in a tiny apartment. One day, a different roomate found it in her underwear drawer. It was fine.

After that, we kept a huge rock on top of the lid so it wouldn't get out again.

Well I was going to come over and visit today, but since you have an escaped snake roaming your house I changed my mind. ;)

Your snake trap was very clever. I hope you find Wormy soon. :(

Note to self. Do not stop at Tori's for some DDP today or until further notice. (OH but you can come to my house IN ONE WEEK!) or neighborhood:))))

Oh no!! Too bad flyers won't help Wormy come back.

Poor kids. Poor Wormy.

When Ty had to have stitches as a child, the ER gave him a snake knitted from multi-colored yarn. He named it "Snakey Worm" and kept it for years. Wormy reminded me of that. I hope you can find Wormy soon! :(
