** I posted a new recipe on the Eazy Mealz blog. It's been a while. I'll be updating it more often because I am such a cook. Not.

** So... there's a big women's activity coming up in my church on April 18. It's starting with a 1 mile walk/5k run, then breakfast and then a couple hours of workshops. They passed around the sign up sheet and I totally signed up for the 5k. Why? Why did I do that? I've run a quite a few 5ks and I always suck. Remember my last 5k? Yes, I got beat by my mom! So... yeah. I will be torturing myself again in a few weeks and I don't even get a tshirt out of it. I went to the gym yesterday and instead of getting on the stairclimber like I usually do I got on the treadmill and thought I'd run a quick 5k to practice... Yeah, um, it was a nice thought. I ran 1.75 miles and called it good. I hate running. I could have kept going but it is just so NOT fun. Not to mention I could literally feel my butt bounce up and down as I ran. It kinda hurts.

** So to answer some of the questions from a couple of posts ago...
Shelby Lou asked:
Paper or Plastic?
I'm gonna go with plastic. Don't hate- I do reuse them to throw out poopy diapers and as little trashcan liners... I don't even think my grocery store has paper. Hmmm....

Nsync or Backstreet Boys?
I really liked both. I liked the whole "Bye Bye Bye" thing by N*Sync, but I'm gonna go with Backstreet Boys. They were cuter in my opinion and I liked more of their songs. I think I have a couple on my iPod. Of course, New Kids on the Block will always be the best boyband EVER... I wouldn't fly to Kansas to see NSync or Backstreet Boys. (Awesome video alert with pelvic thrusts. Not as clear as on an LCD TV but still...)

If Sei had hair would he still be sexy?
He had hair when he met and I just never thought it was that great of hair, so I like him bald. But of course he'd still be sexy with hair because his head would still be on the same body and his lips and eyes would be the same. Yummy. I'm gonna go call him. BRB....
..........
Ok, I'm back...

What is the best piece of advice you have ever gotten?
Whoa. That's hard. I think when I was going thru my divorce my sister told me that one day my prince would come and I would have the best marriage ever. I just needed to be ready. So, I got myself ready spiritually and physically (I got all HAWT for a little while to catch a man!!) And she was totally right. I met Sei.

Yvonne asked:
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you like to live?
I would seriously live on a beach in a hut. I think I would be an awesome, expert beach bum. Ok, maybe not in a hut, but definitely on a beach. Hawaii maybe? I've never been there... I told Sei I'd move to Cozumel in a second. He could be a taxi driver and I could sell bobbing head turtles...

More answers soon!!

I would SO run that 5k with you if you were here...or if I were there. I loved that Red Cross run we did together. I'm doing a ten miler on the 4th so wish me luck!
And... if you could live anywhere... wouldn't it be by me?????? :)

I don't run because I have a thing against my face turning the color of eggplant - people tend to think you're going to die when they see that.

Beach bumming sounds like nirvana.

Bopping headed turtles!?! Well, at least you have a plan! :D I'm sure Sei would love getting to surf all the time too.

Good luck with that 5K. I've still never run one, but I'd like to eventually. :)

"So... there's a big women's activity coming up in my church"

I'm not saying anything against your church, but it does seem kind of discriminatory to only allow big women to participate.

Do any stores carry paper???

I have some of those bobbing head turtles ; )

Your sister is VERY WISE.

One of our high councilman has Sei's "hairstyle" and that's the only way we've ever known him and Kyle and I were both trying to figure out what he would look like WITH HAIR!!!!

I'll be checking out the Easy Meals blog.

I was just thinking about your easy meals blog. I'll go check it out.

You should tell Omar that we girls only blog about the women's activities cause we aren't guys and we don't complain about discrimination. Well that's cause our activities are fun and we enjoy the time off when it's a guys thing. :P

So Cozumel, huh?

I do the same thing with my plastic bags. That is how I recycle.

I loved NSYNC...I saw them in concert 3 times. I like "boy band" music, that's just how I roll.

Those turtles are cute!

Dude Omar owes me a keyboard!!
But I think I would go to church more if that was the concept!

I can't remember the rest of the post now. I will be back!

Cozumel has hurricanes:) I do not like that. But if I can come along and paint the turtles, I am in.

I think it's cool you signed up for the 5k. Tomorrow we (running buddy and I) are runnong and just thinking about it makes me tired.
SO good for you!

I am so a plastic person. I need those bags to use as trash can liners! ;)

I think I've told you this before but I have to tell you again that I love love love love love love the New Kids. LOVE THEM. I flew all the way to Phoenix to my sister's so we could go to the Glendale concert. It was fantastic. My heart burns for them. I'm so glad you like them too.

A small tip for the 5K to help make the running not so bad. Put a book on "tape" on your ipod and just go. Music for that amount of time while helpful doesn't make it seem to go any shorter. Or if you're up to the challenge read a real book while you're up there. I've done it before, but since it's a time issue I would go with audio book.

go tori on your 5k. i love that your RS is doing that as an activity. that is AWESOME. we are doing a stake enrichment day on that day and it usually involves brunch and a speaker. nice but typical. i would much rather do something like a 5k. not necessarily on THAT day since that is when i'm due, but i love the change of pace. good luck, girl!

and i would be a beach bum too.
