Blah

Hey, remember these lil plants from back in April?? Well, this is what they look like now!!:

Yeah. We pretty much rock at gardening...

---------------------

I've been having a bum time lately. Idk what the deal is. I kinda feel like I did in high school where I'm thinkin "Who the heck am I?" Do y'all ever do that or am I just weird? I feel like I'm such a mix of like 40 different personalities. Thankfully my husband loves every one of them- for the most part. I know he has a hard time understanding my "rebellious" nature, but he tries his best not to look at me like I'm a total dirtbag. lol "Dirtbag" is my word of the day. I was listening to Wheatus' song "Teenage Dirtbag" and Tristan thought that was the funniest word ever. lol Heard another funny saying I'll be stealing. When we were chatting, Not So Average Mama said "I think we all have a first crap bag..." referring to sucky exes. lol Crap bags indeed!
---------------------

I had a garage sale this week and made $175. YAY! We have a trip planned to Florida this summer which will be our 1st complete family vacation since I was pregnant with Taj. We don't have the money to go because all our money (and then some;) has been going to an attorney in Canada. But thankfully my parents own a timeshare in Florida, with a built in kitchen, etc... so basically all we have to do is get there and buy groceries and hang on the beach. I am thankful that certain people haven't completely ruined everything. And now with the $175 we can decide between gas money to Florida or 1/2 an hour of attorney fees. Decisions....

--------------------

I've still been doing P90X although not 6 days a week. It's more like 4 days a week. I switched from Classic to Lean because let's face it- pull ups aren't gonna make my butt smaller. The lean version concentrates more on weightloss. Sei is doing the classic version. Oh- speaking of pull ups... If I jump I can do one. ONE- which is the same amount I could do in 5th grade. Yesssssssssssssss.

--------------------

That's about it. I would write more but I don't wanna bore you with my depressiveness. :P Have a happy day!

WHy don't you have a happy day you dirtbag! I go through those, who the crap am I days all the time. It's hard being consumed in the role of mom and wife and trying to feel like anything else sometimes. Love you, hope you can cheer up.
PS, I could do 11 pull ups in 9th grade. I can do 1 now.

I was never able to do ANY pullups in school... It's because I have wimpy little arms and a big sturdy body! :D

Tori, I'm sorry you've been going through such a hard time. I hope you'll be able to make your Florida trip. Just keep moving forward!

BTW, your garden looks awesome!

Hey Tori... I just started following your blog and I love it. I feel like I know you already because I have to deal with very similar issues with the ex from hell. Anyway, just wanted to say keep your head up and thanks for sharing your life with all of us.

Movie Quote - Grease

Check out those mad gardenin' skillz!

That's a bummer about the depression. I have been the same way lately. On Saturday I had a GNO and it helped a lot.

Sorry about the dirtbags and I hope you are able to go to Florida!

Pull ups + Me = people laughing.

I love GREASE!!!!!

I don't love that you are having the blahs. I sometimes wonder why I do the things I do and ask myself who I thought I was or what I was trying to accomplish.

You are a daughter of God entrusted with the most priceless souls. You are doing a fantastic job raising them with some very difficult hurdles.

Go to Florida! You need some fun to balance out the hard.

OH and I still can't do a pull up so one is impressive to me:)

Greetings & salutations! (what movie?)

Florida sounds nice. And relaxing.

My lack of blogging lately? I've been feeling like crap (mentally). I've had to cut back on my blog-reading time b/c I start comparing myself to all these people I DON'T EVEN KNOW, & then I feel even worse. :(

Oh, and I think I did 4 pull-ups in 5th grade, when I weighed half as much as I do now. I was better at the "flexed arm hang". Remember that? Where you had to do a chin-up and hold it there for as long as possible. I maxed out around 27 seconds.

Holy crap, those plants look great!

Up until about a week ago, we had a really nice weed garden going. I finally destroyed the weeds, but it took three steps.

1) Weed wacker

2) Lawn mower

3) Roto tiller

The result looks like I actually know what I'm doing. Now, I just have to figure out how to get stuff to grow on it. UGH.

Yayyy to vacations! You have something awesome to look forward to-- don't be bummed!

I told Jeremy that since we can't afford a hotel, lets go camping somewhere! Yeah... Right... Like that would happen! I'd say we have an uber strong marriage, but camping with 4 kids-- 3 of which are under 5 years old-- would be like signing the divorce papers. Lol! And I'm to obsessive compulsive about hygiene to camp for longer than 5 minutes.

I'm with you on the poor situation. We're feeling some pinch too. We eat more hot dogs in this house than I should admit... This economy is a big fat dirtbag.
