10 years... I remember

It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since the attacks... I will never forget where I was. I will never forget the feeling in my stomach as I watched the 2nd plane crash into the towers. I will never forget just wanting to be with Sei (my fiance at the time) FOREVER. We eloped 3 days later. Our country has been going thru changes, some I don't like at all. But I am still very proud to be an American. Every year as this anniversary arrives I promise myself to do less whining and more serving, more thanking. Those 3000+ killed on September 11, 2001 didn't get another day. I have another day to be better person. I'm gonna make it count.

I love this...

The day after 9/11. Stranded Americans congregate outside Buckingham Palace in London, England. They can't go home because a no-fly order is in operation. The Queen orders the Guards to play the Star Spangled Banner as a sign of the UK's sympathy for the USA. Even Prince Andrew can be seen stood to attention.
An astonishing departure from tradition, Brits are also moved to tears when this clip is televised.
